Help Bridge the Skills Gap in the Greater Susquehanna Valley by Supporting SVCEP's Efforts

Susquehanna Valley Technical Institute (SVTI) is Coming!

Since 2007, SVCEP has been dedicated to bringing a community college to our region. Despite collecting more than 5,000 petitions, political support has remained out of reach. No longer content with advocacy alone, we have moved to action in partnership with regional businesses and local leaders.

In 2023, SVCEP launched its first direct workforce initiative: a nursing program that has already graduated 30 students, who are now participating in the workforce, and established an endowment to support the future community college.

Building on those successes and responding to the recent loss of another trades education institution, we purchased a fully operational training center and are developing a private non-profit technical institute to continue workforce programming our area desperately needs – the Susquehanna Valley Technical Institute!

Class programs will be announced soon!
